India-Bangladesh immigration center opens today
A new immigration check point between India and Bangladesh is expected to boost trade and ties between the neighbours. The immigration centre would be inaugurated in Siliguri town tomorrow (February 18). The new check point has been set up after fervent protests by local businessmen, said a report by ANI The first immigration centre was opened in 1994 for trade between Bhutan and Bangladesh and in 1997 for trade between Nepal and Bangladesh.
