Bus hits motorcycle, one dead, two in critical condition

A bus hit a motorcycle today (16th march) at 4:15 am within Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport area leaving one dead and two in critically injured condition.

Name of the deceased is Riad(16) and the injured two are Akash(14) and Imon(16). Riad appeared for SSC examination from Roisbag High School at Kodomtoli. Akash was Riad’s nephew. He was studying in class 9 in the same school. Imon was their friend.

They were riding motorcycle in the airport area at dawn when a bus hit their motorcycle, knocking off three of them with severe injuries.

Mostafizur Rahman, SI of airport police station, rescued and transported them to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. At 5 am, duty doctor declared Riad dead.

SI Mostafizur added, no relative of the deceased and the injured has yet reached till this report. Riad’s dead body is kept in morgue of Dhaka Medical College Emergency Department.
