Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina likely to reach Dhaka at 8 pm tonight
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is likely to reach Dhaka at 8:00 pm on Sunday night after completing her three day visit to Germany to attend the 53rd Munich Security Conference (MSC).
The Premier left Abu Dhabi airport this afternoon for home after making more than a six and a half hours’ stopover in the United Arab Emirates capital.
An Etihad Airways flight (EY258) carrying the premier and members of her entourage departed Abu Dhabi International Airport at 1.35 pm local time.
Bangladesh Ambassador to the UAE Mohammad Imran saw the prime minister off at the airport.
The prime minister is expected to reach Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 8 pm Bangladesh time.
Earlier, Sheikh Hasina arrived Abu Dhabi at 7.10 am today from Munich on her way home after wrapping up her three-day official visit to Germany to attend the 53rd Munich Security Conference (MSC).
She attended the annual meeting on international security policy, at the invitation of German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
During the visit, the prime minister also held a bilateral meeting with the German chancellor.
