After receiving treatment at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka for over two and half months, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will return to her Gulshan residence Firoza this afternoon.

Khaleda was admitted to Evercare Hospital on November 13 last year with various health complications. Later, she was diagnosed with liver cirrhosis and shifted to CCU of the hospital. After two-month long treatment, she was taken to the cabin on January 10 this year. At present, her health condition is stable. Therefore, doctors have decided to discharge her from the hospital this afternoon, according to the hospital sources.

It has been learnt that the medical board, formed to ensure Khaleda’s treatment, will hold a press conference on her health condition at the hospital this afternoon.

Khaleda, a 76-year-old former prime minister, had been receiving treatment under the supervision of Professor Dr. Shahabuddin Talukder at Evercare Hospital for various health complications since November 13.
