Stocks end with upward trend

Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) witnessed upward trend on the third trading day of the week on Tuesday.

On the premier bourse, turnover, an important indicator of the market, stood at Tk 1,139.31 crore.

The DSEX in the country's main bourse stood at 5,836 points increasing 27 points.

The DSE Shariah Index (DSES) reached 1,330 points rising 4 points.

The DS30 index increasing 3 points to stand at 2,029 points.

Of the issues traded today, 159 advanced, 147 declined and 38 remained unchanged.

Selective Category Index - CSCX of Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) rose 73 points to stand at 17,957 points.
