Bashundhara Group Director Yeasha Sobhan receives the Best Brand Award at a function at Le Meridian Dhaka on Saturday night.

Bashundhara Tissue, a brand of the country’s leading business conglomerate Bashundhara Group, has won the best tissue brand award for the second consecutive time for its premier quality.

Bashundhara Group Director Yeasha Sobhan received the 'Best Brand Award' from Bangladesh Brand Forum (BBF) at a function at Le Meridian Dhaka on Saturday night.

BBF organised the flagship programme to appreciate local businesses for developing brand value.

Along with Bashundhara Tissue, total of 15 brands were awarded with 'best Brand' title while 100 businesses get awards in 34 categories.

The brands were chosen based on a direct survey of 4,000 consumers across the country.

Speaking on the occasion, BBF Director Nazia Andalib Preema emphasised the need for promoting local brands for creating market competition.

Started journey with Nielson Bangladesh in 2008, the Best Brand Award is held every year to honour the finest brands in the country based on a consumer survey.
