Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) organised a discussion meeting on the occasion of 46th Independence and National Day at its own campus in the city’s Mirpur on Monday (March 28).

BUBT Trustee Board Chairman Mr. A. F. M. Sarwar Kamal inaugurated the program as the chief guest.

BUBT Vice-chancellor Prof. Md. Abu Saleh delivered his introductory speech at the ceremony. He summarized the history of torture and deprivation of the people of East Bengal since the creation of Pakistan. He urged the young generation to learn the true history of Liberation War.  

Deans of different faculties, university Proctor Prof. Mian Lutfar Rahman, Joint Registrar chairmen of different departments, teachers, students, officials and a large number of journalists from the print, electronic and online media were present on the occasion.

Later, Bangladeshi feature film ‘Guerrilla’ was screened on the occasion.
