Regular classes for Class-X and XII to be held

Education Minister Dipu Moni has said that SSC and HSC students will appear in examinations on short syllabus in 2021. For this, the classes of class-X and XII would be held regularly after reopening the educational institutions. Besides, students of other classes including class-V will attend class once a week. They will be given homework for whole the week. They will discuss that work with the teachers next week.

The Minister said this while speaking in parliament about ‘Bangladesh Technical Education Board (Amendment) Bill, 2021’ on Sunday (January 240.

Dipu Moni said, “We issued a directive to make all the educational institutions ready to open. It has to be completed by February 4 in accordance with the hygiene rules. We will then observe the situation and announce the date when we will reopen as per the advice of our National Advisory Committee.”

The minister said, “We cannot make students to sit in a huddle. They have to sit after maintaining social distance. When we will see that coronavirus is no longer in that condition and our students are no longer at risk of infection, the class will be in full swing.”
