Runa Laila and Lata Mangeshkar are the two names of living legends of this subcontinent. Hearing the news of Runa being in India, Lata immediately invited Runa to her residence for dinner. Runa accepted and went to Lata’s residence- ‘Pravukunja’.

Runa received a warm welcome at Lata’s place. They started chit chat after dinner and that went on till late night. Uploading a photo of them together Lata twitted-‘ Runa Laila was at our home. We met after a long time.’

Meanwhile Runa told Prothom alo, ‘Talked with living legend Lata ji and her family. She asked about my daughter Tani. Had dinner together. An evening can’t be forgotten.’

With Lata, her sister Usha and nephew Baijnath were also present. Runa visited Lata 5 years ago with her husband, actor Alamgir.

Runa is supposed to return today from India.
