Deepika Padukone and Salman Khan were finally all set to come together for a film.

This time, it was Kabir Khan who was getting them on board for his next period film titled Tubelight. But then, Deepika decided to opt out of the film. However, Kabir has found a replacement.

Buzz is that Katrina has been finalised to replace Deepika in the Kabir Khan directorial. Deepika was reportedly unhappy with her role and wanted Kabir to increase her portions in the film. But Kabir doesn’t like altering his scripts according to actor’s demands hence he refused to budge.

Now, Kabir has gone back to his good friend Katrina for his film. The director is now in advanced talks with Katrina and it’s almost certain that she will come on board for the film. Katrina is also doing Aanand L Rai’s next opposite Shah Rukh Khan which goes on floors later this year.
