Small screen actress Anika Kabir Shokh has recently made a disclosure that she has currently no intention to move to the silver screen.

Shokh, who is currently occupied with television dramas, telefilms and TV commercials, has a new responsibility to fulfill- the duty of being a wife. The popular actress tied the knot with long-time beau Niloy earlier this year.

Replying of a query in this regard, Shokh gave a vague answer to this question saying, “I have no rush to star on silver screen for the time being.”

The actress added that she has plenty of time in her hand to think about that.

“I’m very much content with my small screen ventures right now. Let me get settled here and then I will think about bigger stages. For now my motto is to establish strong foothold in whatever the arena I’m working in.”

Shokh further said she is going to choose wisely when anyone approaches her for a film.

“The canvas of silver screen is pretty huge, one must think about a lot of aspects to become a respectable figure there.”
