Model and small screen actress Monalisa, who recently returned from New York after a four-year stay, is packed with schedule as she is working with eight television dramas aimed to be aired on upcoming Eid season.

 

The actress has recently wrapped up drama ‘Average Aslam’, directed by Sagor Jahan. Monalisa will portray the role of a typical ‘Puran Dhakaiya’ here. Popular actor Mosharrof Karim will star opposite her in this drama.

 

Monalisa also finished filming for drama ‘Did Solaiman’ by Sajin Ahmed Babu, and Mosarrof Karim will be seen opposite Monalisa here as well.

 

‘Chirkutt’, a drama by Rayhan Jewel will also feature Monalisa opposite Irfan Sajjad. Actor Mahfuz Ahmed has produced this Eid venture.

 

Monalisa will pair up with Sajal and Anisur Rahman Milon in S.A. Alik’s Yet-to-be-titled drama for upcoming Eid al-Fitr. The actress has also been cast in Ononno Imon’s drama ‘Phoenix Fly’, starring alongside Abdun Nur Sajal.

 

To talk about her busy days, Monalisa said, “I wasn’t on TV during the Eid season last year, and this year I’m starring in eight dramas. You can term it as a turn of events or me covering up for the last few years. However, all I have to say is that I’m extremely happy to be back finally.”

 

“The story of each play and my roles in these are diverse. Some of them are comedies while some are very serious in approach,” adds Monalisa.
