According to several media reports, the families of actress Mahiya Mahi and her friend Shahriar Islam Shawon have reached an understanding.

 

The both sides signed an agreement in this regard on Sunday to clear path of their respective business.

 

As per the agreement, Mahi will withdraw the case filed against Shawon while Shawon cannot file any case against the actress after his release from jail, reports news agency UNB.

 

Mahi’s father Abu Bakkar and Shawon’s father Nazrul Islam signed the agreement at the house of Mahi in Uttara Sector 9.

 

Just after two days of her marriage with Sylhet’s businessman Parvez Ahmed Opu on May 25, Shahriar Islam Shawon shared some of his intimate photos with Mahi in social media claiming the actress as his wife.

 

Shawon was arrested from his Badda house on May 27 following a case filed with Uttara West Police Station under section 57 (2) of the ICT Act by Mahi. 

 

Contacted, Mahi said she had filed the case against Shawon considering the image of her family, including father-in-law.

 

She also said she has decided to withdraw the case as she feels the uploading of her pictures might be the act of a third party to humiliate her.
