We should get permission to work in Pakistan: Anil Kapoor
The Slumdog Millionaire star mentioned the latter in an interview with Voice of America, where he expressed his gratitude to his Pakistan fans and professed his desire to visit them.
"I get a lot of joy when I find out that the people there [in Pakistan] our brothers and sisters, they enjoy our films. This is our work, to make people happy, whether they be from Hindustan or Pakistan. For us the whole world is one," said Anil.
The actor favours the idea of collaborations between Pakistan and India. According to him, "This should happen, one hundred percent. Co-productions need to happen, we should get permission to work in Pakistan... And the censor board should be liberal towards the films, towards us. It will be better for the films."
The 24 star is very eager to come to Pakistan and is excited for an opportunity that would let him. "If I ever get an invitation to Pakistan, I'm on board any time! I think, very soon, I will be coming to Pakistan. I always say this and honestly I am aching to come there."
