Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Annisul Huq, who was undergoing treatment at a London hospital, has passed away on Thursday. He was 65.
The shocking news surfaced on Thursday night when business leaders at a conference at Policy Research Institute observed a one-minute silence in memory of him, said witnesses.
The renowned business leader was a regular host on Bangladesh Television in the early 1980s. He has hosted interviews with politically significant personalities.
