After her stellar performances on both the big and small screens, National Film Award winning actress Bidya Sinha Mim is all set to make her debut in the web series.

The web series titled ‘Beauty and Bullet’ is going to be directed by Animesh Aich while the screenplay is jointly written by Aich and Maruf Rehman, who has also penned the story.

DhakaLive has news that the actress returned home from Bangkok yesterday and will take a short rest before commencing shooting for the web series from January 6.

Mim said, “After returning to the country, I am going to work in my first web series. I am hopeful that under Animesh Aich’s direction, it will be a great work as he is a talented director. The audience knows about his skills more than anyone else. I hope they will discover a new dimension of Animesh Aich through this web series.”

The actress was in Bangkok to complete the shooting of the film ‘Thai Curry’, an Indo-Bangla joint project directed by Ankit Aditya. Mim has essayed the character of Maya in the film. This is for the second time that Indian actor Soham has performed opposite the actress in the film.

On the other hand, Mim has recently completed her work in Golam Sohrab Dodul’s film ‘Shap Ludo’. The actress is currently waiting for the release of her other film ‘Daag’, which is directed by Tareq Sikder.

For the New Year, Mim has sought blessings from everyone for herself and her family.
