The 61st birthday of Ekushey Padak winning actress Suborna Mustafa, a face of the country’s small screen, is being celebrated today (December 2).

Suborna Mustafa started her career at a very young age. Her first movie was ‘Ghuddi’ and then seen in many commercial films.

She last appeared in the film ‘Gohin Baluchor’, which was released in December 2017. The movie recently has got the National Film Awards in 7 categories.

Suborna Mustafa has got the Best Supporting Actor (Female) award for the film. Honourable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will hand over the award to the actress on December 8.

Suborna said, “We are very honoured that Gohin Baluchor has got National Film Awards in seven categories.

The whole team of the film is grateful to the authority. We are getting positive response from the audience till now.

They are enjoying the film on YouTube and praise it regularly.”

About her birthday plan, the actress said, “I have no special plan to celebrate my birthday. For me everyday and each job are special. Usually, my beloved people always celebrate this day with me and I love this most. I just want to stay healthy and stay busy with my work,” she added.

Apart from that, Suborna completed the shooting of Fakhrul Arefeen’s upcoming movie ‘Gondi’ alongside Sabyasachi Chakrabarty.

Besides, the actress is also seen in the TV drama serial ‘Lukochuri Lukochuri Golpo’, which is being aired on BTV.
