On making Banking and Financial Institution Division(BFID) secretary M. Aslam OSD,  the finance minister A M A Muhit said, one cannot escape from liability by virtue of high position. As he (Aslam) was the secretary of BFID, he should have known about the heist.

The finance minister said this to the journalists on Wednesday.

He also mentioned that the central bank needs reformation. The bank is not in its normal state. A subcommittee will be formed for appointment of two deputy governor, after the new governor joins in.

Steps to recover the stolen money will be taken after the new governor joins, said finance minister
