2 killed in covered van-auto rickshaw crash in Feni

Two men were killed as a covered van hit an auto rickshaw on Dhaka-Chittagong highway at Lemuar Hafezia area of Feni district early Friday.
The deceased were identified as auto-rickshaw driver Mizanur Rahman 45, and the passenger Mohammad Moju Mia, 60, they hailed from Motiganj area of Sonagazi upazila.
The accident took place when a Dhaka-bound recklessly driven covered van hit the auto rickshaw from behind leaving the auto-rickshaw driver dead on the spot and a passenger injured.
Locals took the passenger to the Feni Sadar hospital where the incumbent doctor declared him dead.
Mizanur’s body has been kept in the hospital morgue.
