The charred bodies of three teenage boys, including two brothers, were recovered from a dairy farm room at Hemayetpur in Savar, on the outskirts of the capital, on Saturday.

The deceased were identified as Jibon, 19, Nasir, 16 - two sons of Ziaur Rahman; and Bhoje, 14, son of Karkama Mia, hailing from Nilphamari district went to sleep in the room on Friday night. All the three were workers of Pranta dairy farm. Police sources said having no response from them the following morning, the parents of the trio entered the room breaking open the door and found them dead around 11. On information, police recovered their burnt bodies and sent those to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy. SM Kamruzzaman, officer-in-charge of Savar Model Police Station, said they are investigating how the boys were killed, reports UNB. Locals, however, believed that they have been killed in a lightning strike at night.
