Abducted 5 persons including 3 siblings remain untraced for 13 days
Five people, including four members of a family, remained untraced for the last 13 days till Tuesday as they were picked up by some people in black clothes from Faridpur uapzila in Pabna and Ullahpara upazila in Sirajganj.
Those who remained missing are three siblings-- Tikka Sarder, 30, Irshad Sarder, 25, and Saddam Sarder, 20,-- their brother-in-law Mostak Aziz alias Dulal, 45 and Hafizur Rahman Ronny, 26, reports UNB quoting their families.
Abdul Karim Sarder, a local UP member, said 4-5 people wearing black clothes and sunglasses went to the house of the three siblings at Khagrabari village in Faridpur upazila and picked them up in a white microbus around 4 am on May 11.
Over 20 people wearing black clothes and lungi encircled their house at that time, he said.
Besides, Mostak Aziz alias Dulal, 45, brother-in-law of the three siblings, was picked up by some anonymous people from his aunt’s house at Ullapara upazila in Sirajganj district.
On the other hand, Hafizur Rahman Ronny, 26, son of Julu Pramanik of Faridpur upazila was also picked up by people in similar dress.
All the four members of the family were said involved in Awami League politics.
