Savar plastics factory catches fire
At least 10 workers were injured as a fire broke out at the plastic factory at Kornopara in Savar, the outskirts of Dhaka, on Thursday morning.
The fire broke out at AB Oven Beg Industries Ltd around 3:40am and soon engulfed the whole factory, said Fire Service and Civil Defense sources said.
On information, seven fire fighting units rushed to the spot and extinguished the flame after three hours of frantic efforts.
No casualties reports were filed.
On information, Savar Model Thana police visited the spot.
