Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC) Mayor-elect Selina Hayat Ivy will take oath as the city mayor on Thursday. Ivy was reelected as the mayor of Narayanganj city for the second time in NCC polls held on December 22.

Elected twenty seven general councilors and nine reserve women councilors will also take their oaths at the Prime Minister’s office at 10pm on tomorrow morning.

 Prime Minister Sheik Hasina will administer the oath of office to mayor-elect Selina Hayat Ivy while Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain is set to administrate the oath to all elected councilors.

 Election Commission published the gazette of elected mayor and councilors details on December 28 and sent letter to the local government ministry asking to take necessary measures.
