The government has fixed Taka 128,000 as air fares for Haj pilgrims this year, reducing Tk 10,191 comparing to the last year’s Tk 138,191.

“Air fares for the Haj pilgrims ware Tk 138,191 in the last year. But is has been fixed Tk 128,000, reducing Tk 10,191,” State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Md Mahbub Ali said at a press conference after an inter- ministerial meeting held at the conference room of his ministry in the city.

Mahbub Ali said the Bangladesh Biman will perform its duty properly so that the people could perform Haj smoothly. He sought cooperation from all in reducing suffering during Haj.
