Int’l Customs Day being celebrated

National Board of Revenue (NBR) Chairman Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan has inaugurated International Customs Day 2019 at NBR Office on Saturday, Jan 26.

The day is being observed in 182 other member countries of the World Customs Organization (WCO).

Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan urged the officials of his department to work as servant of people and not to harass anyone.

He also underscored the need of collecting tax to accelerate the trend of country’s development.

A rally, brought out from in front of NBR Office, rounded Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Office, Press Club and Paltan-Bijoynagar Intersection, to mark the day.
