General holiday on Thursday also for DSCC
The government has declared general holiday on Thursday for Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) for voting in 18 new wards.
Alongside the Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) by-polls for mayoral post, elections will also be held for the posts of councillors at the 18 new wards in each DNCC and DSCC and for six reserved women councillor seats each at DNCC and DSCC.
