Fire breaks out at FR Tower in Banani

A fire broke out at a multistory building on Kemal Ataturk Avenue in the city’s Banani area on Thursday.

The fire broke out at around 12:45 pm at the fifth floor of the FR Tower, said an official of Fire Service and Civil Defense control room.

Five firefighting units rushed there and have been trying to extinguish the blaze till filling of this report around 01:15 pm.

However, the origin of the fire could not be known immediately
