Tahmina Shirin new IEDCR director

Prof Dr Tahmina Shirin has been made the new director of the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control & Research (IEDCR).
The Health Service Division of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare issued a gazette notification in this regard on Wednesday.
It said her appointment will be effective from Thursday.
Dr Shirin was also the chief scientific officer and a medical virologist of the institute. She is going to replace Prof Merjady Sabrina Flora.
Recently Dr Sabrina Flora been made the additional director general (planning and development) of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
