Over 1000 infected with Covid-19 for the 2nd consecutive day, six deaths recorded

More than 1,000 people have infected with Coronavirus or Covid-19 for the second consecutive day.

A total of 1,052 people were detected with Covid-19 on Thursday while the number was 1,018 on Wednesday.

In the last 24 hours, six people died in Covid-19 in the country. All were male and were undergoing treatment at hospital.   

A press notification signed by Additional Director General of Directorate General of Health Service (DGHS) revealed this information on Thursday.

According to DGHS, some 18,058 samples were tested in 219 laboratories in the country including the capital in the last 24 hours. With this, a total of 42 lakh 16 thousand and 28 samples were tested and   the number of corona infected patient is 5 lakh 54 thousand and 156.
