JS budget session begins this afternoon

JS budget session begins this afternoon

The 13th session (Budget) of the 11th Jatiya Sangsad will begin this afternoon following health guidelines.

President M Abdul Hamid called the session as per the power bestowed on him by the constitution.

The proposed budget for the 2021-22 fiscal year will be placed in the parliament for the second time during the global novel coronavirus pandemic.

The 50th national budget of the country and also 21st budget by the incumbent government led by the Awami League will be placed on June 3.

Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal is expected to place the budget at 3pm on that day for three consecutive times.

According to sources, the budget session will be short this time around as the last budget session due to coronavirus pandemic and will be followed health guidelines.
