Man arrested in Cox’s Bazar is real Iqbal: Home Minister

Home Minister Assaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said that this is real Iqbal Hossain who has been arrested from Cox’s Bazar for keeping a Quran at the Nanua Dighir Par puja mandap in Cumilla city on October 13.

“This Iqbal Hossain placed the Holy Quran at the Nanua Dighir Par puja mandap in Cumilla city on October 13.  Till now we are sure that this is real Iqbal Hossain”, the home minister said this to risingbd on Friday.

“He changed his position frequently as a result it became very difficult to arrest him”, the minister also said.

Iqbal Hossain was arrested from Cox’s Bazar on Thursday night. After primary interrogation, he was taken to Cumilla on Friday noon.
