Global COVID-19 cases top 363.69m, deaths pass 5.64m
The overall global Covid-19 caseload has topped 363.69 million, while the deaths have surged to more than 5.64 million, according to data from the worldometer.
In its latest update on Thursday (Jan 27, 6pm Bangladesh Time), the data revealed that the current global caseload and death toll stood at 363.693,138 and 5,647,470 respectively.
Besides, a total of 287,884,314 people recovered worldwide from the disease, according to data from the worldometer.
A total of 222 countries and territories and two international conveyances have been infected in the deadly disease.
In USA, 74,176,403 people have tested positive for the virus. Of them, 889,680 people have died and 45,421,318 people have recovered.
In Brazil, 24,553,950 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 624,507 have died and 22,036,168 recovered.
In India, 40,371,500 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 491,729 people have died and 37,677,328 people have recovered.
In Russia, 11,404,617 people have tested positive for Covid-19. Of them, 328,770 have died and 10,129,691 people have recovered.
In Mexico, 4,779,296 have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 304,308 died and 3,853,156 recovered from the disease.
In Peru, 3,070,357 people have tested positive for Covid-19. Of them, 204,769 have died.
In UK, 16,149,319 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 154,702 patients have died and 12,781,312 people have recovered.
