Dry weather likely, mild cold wave in parts of country

Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country while mild cold wave is sweeping over the districts of  Dinajpur, Nilphamari, Kurigram, Rajshahi, Pabna, Moulvibazar and the upazila of Sitakunda, Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said on Tuesday.

Moderate to thick fog may occur over north-western part and the river basins of the country and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country from midnight to morning.

Night and day temperatures may rise slightly over the country.  

Country's maximum temperature 28.2 degree Celsius was recorded at Teknaf on Monday and the lowest temperature 8.5 degree Celsius recorded at Sitakunda on Tuesday morning.

The sun sets at 5.49 pm today and rises at 6.35 am tomorrow in the capital.
