Amar Ekushey Book Fair kicks off today

The Amar Ekushey Book Fair will start today by following proper health guidelines.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will virtually inaugurate the book fair from her official residence Ganabhaban on Tuesday (February 15).

After the inauguration, the book fair will be opened for public.

The fair will start at 2pm and continue till 9pm every day. On holidays, the fair will start at 11am.

In this year’s book fair, a total of 534 publishing houses are taking part in the Bangla Academy premises and Suhrawardy Udyan.

The book fair is supposed to end on February 28.
