Bangladesh Embassy in Poland has urged Bangladesh nationals to leave Ukraine immediately.

The embassy made the urge on its Facebook page on Tuesday (Febraury 15).

“Bangladesh immigrants in Ukraine are suggested to leave the country immediately in light of recent security situation. If they cannot move to any other country, they can return to Bangladesh. The embassy will monitor the situation and update the advice later,” the FB post reads.

The embassy also has suggested Bangladesh nationals to avoid any kind of travel to Ukraine without any extreme emergencies. Alongside, Bangladeshis live in Ukraine are requested to inform their whereabouts to the embassy.

However, Foreign Ministry could not be reached immediately for official statement in this regard.

Earlier, Bangladesh Embassy in Poland posted an emergency notification on its Facebook page to move Bangladeshis to any safe places due to escalation of tensions.
