Thousands of homebound people are leaving the capital Dhaka to celebrate the Eid-ul-Azha festival with their near and dear ones.

Many people are leaving the capital after attending their respective offices on Thursday, the last working day ahead of Eid-ul-Azha. But many people left Dhaka earlier to avoid the Thursday`s hassle journey and sufferings.

During visit to the capital it was seen many of the homebound people started thronging at bus and train stations and Sadarghat launch terminal for their village homes to celebrate the Eid.

Different bus terminals including Gabtoli, Mohakhali and Jatrabari are witnessing unprecedented rush of homebound people.

People were also seen moving busily at Kamlapur Railway Station since the early hours of Thursday as special rail services began operating from today.
