Gold price drops by Tk 2,519 per bhori

Gold price drops by Tk 2,519 per bhori

Following a decrease in the price of pure gold in the local market Bangladesh Jeweller’s Association (Bajus) has decided to reduce the price of gold by Tk 2,519 per bhori, fixing good quality 22-carat gold price at Tk 1,36,189 per bhori.

The standing committee on pricing and price monitoring at BAJUS announced the latest reduction at a meeting on Monday, said a press release.

According to the new pricing, the price of high-quality 22-carat gold is set at Taka 1,36,189 per bhori, 21-carat gold at Taka 1,29,595 per bhori, 18-carat gold at Taka 1,11,426 per bhori, and the traditional method price set at Taka 91,411.

The new rate is effective from Tuesday.
