BNP chairperson and former prime minister Begum Khaleda Zia has called for a meeting of the standing committee, marking the upcoming 6^th national council of the party on 19^th March.

Tonight’s meeting will be held at chairperson’s Gulshan office at 9:00 pm.

Member of BNP chairperson’s media wing, Shayrul Kabir Khan has confirmed The Dhaka Post about the news.

He informs that members of standing committee including M K Anwar may be present in the meeting. This meeting has been called to make the upcoming council successful, according to source of chairperson’s office.

The party’s 6^th national council on 19^th March will be held in Institute of Engineers, Bangladesh(IEB)  auditorium. In the meantime, Begum Khaleda Zia and Tarek Rahman have been nomintated as the party’s chairperson and vice chairman respectively.
