Countering BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s accusations against him, prime minister’s ICT Advisor Sajeeb Wazed Joy yesterday called the BNP chief a liar and a thief. Joy, also the son of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, made the remarks in a status posted on his official Facebook page. In the post, Joy wrote: A woman (Khaleda Zia) who has stolen money from orphans, one whose son [Tarique Rahman] is a fugitive accused by the FBI for corruption, really should not be throwing mud at Bangabandhu’s grandson.In response to Khaleda’s questions about references to $300m in Joy’s account, Joy responded by saying, I am not that rich.Madam, if you know where the $300 million is, please let me know. I would like to donate it to orphans. Joy said Your henchmen Mahmudur Rahman and Shafik Rehman stole secret FBI documents listing all my bank accounts but could not find it. “Khaleda Zia on other hand, is a liar and a thief, he added.
