Hassan Mahmud lambastes BNP for its meeting with Mossad chief
Awami League publicity and publication secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud today slammed BNP its alleged meeting with the head of Israeli intelligence agency chief Mossad for hatching conspiracy to topple the government.
Mentioning many Muslim countries, including Bangladesh, Mahmud said most of the Muslim countries have no diplomatic ties with Israil. So from now on it is clear that BNP can follow any path to cling to state power, he added. “It’s not possible to visit Israel with Bangladeshi passport. Even Many Muslim countries, including Bangladesh, have no diplomatic ties with Israel. But BNP joint general secretary Aslam Chowdhury held a meeting with Mossad,” news agency UNB said quoting Hasan Mahmud. Dr Hasan Mahmud, also a former minister, said this while addressing a press briefing after a meeting of AL sub-committee on publicity and publication formed on the occasion of party’s national council to be held on July 10 and 11. Earlier on Tuesday, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam told journalists that BNP has been trying to cling to state power through using Mossad.
