Charge framed against Khaleda for Darussalam arson attack

Charge framed against Khaleda for Darussalam arson attack

Police on Wednesday pressed charges against BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia and 23 others in two cases filed for arson attacks in Darussalam area of Dhaka in 2015.

 

The charge sheets were submitted by Darussalam police with the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court in Dhaka.

 

Khaleda has been shown as the mastermind of both the attacks in Darussalam area during the BNP-led 20-party alliance anti-government agitation.

 

Police appealed to the court to issue an arrest warrant for Khaleda.
