AL revokes exemption notice of Quader Mirza
Noakhali district unit Awami League has revoked the decision of reliving its executive member and Basurhat municipality mayor Abdul Quader Mirza from the party activities.
District unit AL president AHM Khairul Anam Chowdhury Selim confirmed the matter around 8:30pm on Saturday (February 20).
He said that the unit withdrew its previous order ‘to keep the situation peaceful. However, he didn’t say anything details in written format.
On the other hand, AL general secretary Ekramul Karim Chowdhury said that the withdrawal order of Quader Mirza is effective.
Earlier, Noakhali District Awami League relieved Abdul Quader Mirza, mayor of Basurhat Municipality, from organisational responsibilities.
