Australia take on a qualifying team in Match 22 of the ICC World T20 2016 at the N Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. Australia, who have been in terrible form in this format of the game, especially following the 0-3 loss at the hands of former T20  Champions India in their home series in January this year, would look to come up with an improved and a stellar performance as they also look forward to win their maiden World T20 title. However, they are set to get a tough competition from the qualifier as well, as they too have been tough in the tournament so far. With the game being held at Bangalore, it is expected to be a run feast.

Australia, who have been a powerhouse in the shortest format of the game, have come up with some exciting and match-winning performance in the game, but haven’t produced a performance great enough to be crowned the World Champions in this format. They would definitely look to turn the tables this time around, however, with the sub-continental tracks not suiting the likes of Australian power play, it would again be an uphill task for the Oceania giants to prove themselves worthy of being crowned the new champions in these tough conditions.The ICC World T20 2016 is being hosted from March 11 to April 3 in India, as this would also be the sixth annual ICC World T20 event ever since it was inaugurated in 2007. The tournament is being hosted across seven different cities in the nation, with the final too slated to be hosted at this very venue in Kolkata. Just like the previous edition, this year too, the tournament is slated to have 16 teams participating, out of which eight teams play the qualifiers and a could make it to the main round of 10. Ten teams qualified automatically through their status as full members of the International Cricket Council, while another six qualified through the 2015 World Twenty20 Qualifier.
