An urgent meeting of Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra Limited management committee was held at East West Media Group conference room in Bashundhara R/A on Saturday.

Club Chairman and Managing Director of Bashundhara Group, a leading business conglomerate of the country, Sayem Sobhan Anvir presided over the meeting.

He thanked the committee for their participation and efforts. He also discussed about the recent performances and hoped for betterment of the club from the new committee.

Currently, Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra are competing in the JB Bangladesh Premier League football tournament in Chittagong.

A four-day long school level table tennis tournament is expected to be organised by Sheikh Russel KC and Bashundhara Group in October, on the occasion of the 52nd birth anniversary of Sheikh Russel, youngest son of father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

In the meeting, a new committee has been formed for the 2015-16 football season.
