Victorian’s opener Tamim Iqbal, who played BPL final match for the first time, exploded 141 off 61 with 11 sixes and 10 fours that lead Comilla to hold BPL trophy for the second time.

Tamim Iqbal was announced player of the match while Shakib Al Hasan was declared player of the tournament for his all-round performance.

Earlier, Dhaka Dynamites won the toss and elected to bowl first against Victorians in the final battle of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) T20 at home of cricket Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur.

Both the franchises have won the tournament previously. Dynamites have four all-rounders, who have between them a small matter of 33 major T20 titles.

The Victorians aren't short of star-power either, with veteran Shahid Afridi, and the in-form Thisara Perera at their command. This mini battle of the allrounders should lend the final an exciting sub-plot, and could prove pivotal in the end.
