Bangladesh suffer innings defeat in D/N Test

India completed an innings and 46-run win over Bangladesh in the second Test, a maiden day-night affair for both of the teams with pink ball, to seal the series 2-0 at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Sunday.

Mahmudullah, sustained a hamstring injury and subsequently retired hurt for 39 on day two, didn’t come to bat, as Bangladesh ended their second innings on 195-9 in 41.1 overs.

Mushfiqur Rahim was the highest scorer for Bangladesh in this innings with 74. Al-Amin Hossain made 21.

For India, Umesh Yadav took five wicktes while Ishant Sharma captured four.

Bangladesh were all out for 106 in its first innings, before India declared on 347-9.

Bangladesh lost the first by an innings and 130-run margin.
