A General Diary (GD) has been filed with the capital’s Uttara Pashchim Police Station as Tamima Sultana got married to cricketer Nasir Hossain without divorcing her previous husband formally. The GD was filed by Rakib Hassan, ex-husband of Tamima.

Shah Md Aktaruzzaman, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Uttara Pashchim Police Station, confirmed the matter to risingbd on Saturday (February 20).

He said, “A GD was filed against a woman named Tamima Hossain by her husband Rakib Hassan on Thursday (February 18). The GD will be produced before the court seeking permission to investigate into the matter.”

Rakib Hassan complained in the GD that Tamima tied the knot with Nasir without divorcing him and leaving her 8-year-old daughter.

Nasir and Tamima got married on February 14, the Valentines Day.

Tamia is a cabin crew of Saudi Airlines.
