Tigers arrive home from New Zealand

Bangladesh Test team have arrived home after completing a successful tour in New Zealand.

The flight carrying the Tigers landed at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Saturday (January 15) afternoon.

Though all the team members reached home today, senior batsman Mushfiqur Rahim and team director Khaled Mahmud Sujan arrived Dhaka earlier on Thursday.

Bangladesh clinched their maiden Test win over the Kiwis by eight wickets during the first Test in Mount Maunganui before they suffered an innings and 117 runs defeat to the hosts in the second and last Test in Christchurch.

It was the first time in Bangladesh Test cricket history, they returned home without empty hands from New Zealand as in all their previous tours in the southwestern Pacific Ocean country, they suffered heavy defeats across formats.
