Ringing Bells, an Indian tech company has unveiled what seems to be the cheapest smartphone ever on the planet! 

Named Freedom 21, it is a smartphone powered by Android which is priced as just INR 251, which approximately translates to $4 according to current exchange rates.  Specification wise you get a phone that is powered by a quad-core 1.3GHz processor, a 4-inch display IPS, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The device’s software is powered by Android 5.0 Lollipop. In terms of camera there is 3.2MP snapper at the back and 0.3MP (VGA) shooter at the front. Connectivity wise it includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. Everything is powered by 1,450mAH battery.
