Miscreants are circulating various types of misleading information as they opened fake Facebook accounts in the names of Bangabandhu’s family members.

Fake Facebook pages are being run using names of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Sheikh Rehana, Saima Wazed, and Bangabandhu’s grandson Radwan Mujib Siddiq, ruling Awami League said in a press release.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, her daughter Saima Hossain Wazed and sister Sheikh Rehana have no personal or official Facebook accounts, pages in social networking sites, according to the release.

Giving stern warning, AL ordered the admins of those fake pages to immediately announce them as unofficial. Otherwise, legal action will be taken against them.

However, premier’s son also her ICT Affairs Adviser Sajeeb Wazed Joy runs the verified Facebook page (www.facebook.com/sajeeb.a.wazed) while Radwan runs (www.facebook.com/radwan.siddiq).
